The site is back up but we lost everything in the Shoutbox and some of the pictures.  Other than that everything else looks ok but if you experience any problems, email me at webmaster@dhhawaii.com. Thanks for waiting.

Aloha All, I have to do an emergency update of this site which will happen this coming weekend, March 14 and 15. To do this, I'll have to shut the site down for both days. I haven't applied any major updates to the site in awhile and there are numerous vulnerabilities with our current software that needs to be taken care of. I'm shooting to bring the site back up on Sunday night at 7pm as long as there aren't any problems. Sorry for any inconvenience but this is something we have to do to make sure the site is stable and doesn't get attacked. If you have any questions, please email me at webmaster@dhhawaii.com. Mahalo for all your support. Dennis T.

The server update has been completed.  Please let me know if you experience any problems.  Now the next thing will be upgrading the site to the latest updates.  I'll let everyone know before this happens.  Thanks for all your support.

In the next couple of days, the server DHHawaii is hosted on will be upgraded.  This will be a more powerful server with better hardware and features and hopefully this will translate to a faster and more reliable website.  I don't expect any downtime for the site but to be safe, I'll be making nightly backups so we can restore it if it does go down.  I'll post more information as it becomes available.

Also in the near future, probably after new years, I'll have to shut the site down temporarily to perform some major updates.  This has the potential of breaking some things so please bear with me when this happens.  I'll give you more info when we get closer to that time also.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  If you have any questions, just pm me or post it up on the messageboard.  Thanks for all your support,

Dennis T.

This month we have lost a fellow mountain biker and a good friend Sii Srisabai. Sii was a frequent rider at Makakilo, Royal Summit, and Kualoa Ranch. He had competed at numerous 24 Hours of Hell in Paradise, Honolulu Triathlon, and Xterra Mountainman events.  He passed away on September 6, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. Sii leaves behind his wife Christine, children Cedrian, Sianne, Seithan, and Seiver (Kaeo).

Please join me to help celebrate his passing at Mililani Memorial Park Mortuary (Mauka Chapel) on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. The address is
94-560 Kamehameha Hwy.

Please pass on this message to other mountain bikers and those that knew Sii.

Thanks for helping,

Cedric
